growing Christmas magic
Our goal at Shine Tree Farm is to bring families together & create Christmas magic.
WE LOVE CHRISTMAS! The Christmas Market will be open every year in December as a place for families to come together, sip some cocoa, share laughs, take photos & share in the Christmas joy. We will have a variety of trees & wreaths as well as other Christmas offerings for sale. This year we planted 4,000 new trees! We planted plenty of Noble & Douglas firs.

Follow along & watch us GROW!
Farmer Todd has shared a few photos of the process, take a peak below.

What we grow
NOBLE FIR
The perfect backdrop for displaying your treasured holiday ornaments, Nobles are known for having open spaces between strong branches for showing off "hanging ornaments". The elegant silvery branches are often added to arrangements and wreaths. Grown on rich Northwest farmland, this uniquely beautiful tree is extremely hardy.

DOUGLAS FIR
A Douglas Fir during the Christmas season is a piece of nostalgia. With aromatic bluish-green needles on gracefully arching full branches, these trees have been a holiday favorite for a long time.

FRASER FIR
This elegant fir has needles that are a short, lustrous dark green and slightly twisted at their bases with a silvery blue on the bottom. It is strong and durable and has tiered branches.

NORDMAN FIR
This elegant fir has needles that are a short, lustrous dark green & slightly twisted at their bases with a silvery blue on the bottom. It is strong & durable & has tiered branches. The Nordman fir has a longer lifespan than other firs making it your long lasting-beautifully decorated companion over the holiday season. Originally a native of Turkey, Georgia, Northern Armenia, the mountains around the Black Sea, & the Russian Caucasus, in recent years, the Nordman fir has proved an excellent species for growing at our Oregon tree farms. Today, the Nordman Fir is favored for its attractive foliage, softer needles, & its resistance to shedding needles as the tree dries. It has also become a great choice for some families where allergies or sensitivity to the typical Christmas tree aroma is a concern as the Nordman lacks fragrance. Enjoy a Nordman Fir this season as the focal point for your families Christmas celebration!
